I hang it in the shower in our camper to but soap shampoo and things like that works greatToo small & shallow to fit more than 3 medium onions!!If you cram in 4 or 5, I suspect the bag might break!I'm using these for shallots & garlic only.Worked better than expected. I have 2 hanging in the kitchen....for a few months now. And holding up well. One for onions and garlic and the other for potatoes. They are not heavy duty but each one is strong enough to hold a 2 large onions and 3 garlic bulbs. Or 5 russet potatoes. I periodically hand wash with mild detergent.I was looking for a small mesh bag to carry shower products in . This fits the bill.These are great for storing onions and garlic. Holds a lot of garlic bulbs or about six or so medium onions.Perfect size & a simple way to store our fruits or veggies.Space is limited in some motorhomes/rvs kitchen countertops; so these are perfect to keep everything of the counter and organized without having to drill anything into the cabinets.
